Royal Journey of Rajasthan

Undertake a journey through time and soak in the atmosphere of the way royalty of yore travelled in the desert. The royal Kafila comprises of 10 to 12 camel carts exquisitely designed and decorated in the traditional manner. The carts reflect the designs that were prevalent during different periods of history. The carts are double as well as multi-seaters with their own exclusive camel driver. A provision carriage and out-riders accompany the Kafila and as dusk falls and night sets in, torchbearers to show the way.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive at Delhi International airport. Upon arrival in Delhi, the guest will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
This morning you will be taken to visit Old Delhi - Former centre of Mughal Power, Old Delhi offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling bazaars. Drive past the Red Fort, built in 1648 and board the 'rickshaw ride' for a unique experience from the Red Fort, through "Chandni Chowk" or Silver Street, experiencing the sights and sounds of this very busy avenue heading west from the Fort. End the tour at the towering minaret of Qutub Minar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Mandawa
Morning drive to Mandawa (257 kms). Upon arrival in Mandawa, check-in at hotel.
Afternoon visit the town, a painted arched gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows leads to the bazaar. You can wander through the streets where mansions of rich merchants are adorned with elaborate & lively frescoes, cataloging the life, habits/fashions of the Marwari community. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Mandawa - Jaipur
Morning drive to Jaipur (151Kms) Upon arrival in Jaipur check into Hotel.
Afternoon tour of the City - "The Pink City" is spectacularly set within surrounding rugged hills, dotted with ancient ruined fortresses. Your tour will include the imposing City Palace, still home to the Maharaja although several of the rooms are now open to the public. Overnight at hotel
Day 05: Jaipur
Morning tour of the impressive Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, making your entrance in the time honoured fashion. The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the life-style of the Mughal ruling families.
Day 06: Jaipur - Khimsar
Morning drive to Khimsar (240 kms). Upon arrival in Khimsar check into Hotel. The drive is very interesting as gradual transformation takes place between the green hilly areas of the Aravallis & the barren desert land.
An exciting jeep safari to the famous Black Buck Sanctuary to spot antelope, blue bull, quantities of peacocks, deer and black buck. Continue the safari through the various tribal villages of the "Bishnois" who are well known lovers of nature & staunch environmentalists. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Khimsar - Deogarh
Morning drive to Deogarh Upon arrival in Deogarh check into hotel. Afternoon visit Deogarh Mahal - built in 1670 A.D., the Mahal stands at a height of 2100 ft. above sea level with its bold battlements, domed turrets and balconies offering a commanding view of the surrounding Aravalli mountains and its rugged rock-strewn countryside dotted by a number of lakes. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Deogarh - Udaipur
Morning drive to Udaipur . Upon arrival in Udaipur check into hotel. Late afternoon enjoy a cruise by boat on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. From the lake you have a wonderful view of the City Palace stretching along the east bank, while the south bank has pleasant gardens running down to the waterside. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Udaipur - Jodhpur
Morning City tour of Udaipur, one of India's most romantic cities and famed for its lovely palaces and lakes. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Jodhpur - Delhi
Morning city tour of Jodhpur - the largest city in Rajasthan after Jaipur, Jodhpur stands at the edge of the Thar Desert. Evening transfer to Railway station to Board train for Delhi.
Day 11: Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi, the guest will be met by our representative & later on transfer to International airport to fly back home.
