The tour takes you to the famous places of Rajasthan and Maharashatra states where forts and palaces echoes the story of gallantry and bravery of Rajaputs and the caves of Ajanata and Allora resonates the ages old heritage of Buddhism in the country. .
Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
Arrive at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. We would be there to receive and assist you in all the custom formalities at the airport. We would drive straight towards our pre booked hotel as per your choice. You would receive a warm welcome in Indian traditional manner by hotel authority . After check in formalities are done you can take your room keys and have rest. Lunch would be served in your room. Take rest in the after noon to remove the tiredness of the journey. In the evening , if you want we would take you for the visit of near by areas in Delhi. Enjoy rickshaw ride in Chandani Chowk the famous local market in the city . It has historical significance of Mughal Era in Delhi. In Cannought place you can shop for all the latest brands. This area reminds you of British raj in India. The buildings of English architecture still stand tall in the centre of the city. Return back to the hotel in late night.Day 02 : Delhi – Agra
Today start your day with a healthy breakfast and get ready to start our first expedition for Agra. We would reach Agra by car. The hotel which is booked for you is equipped with all types of modern amenities. We would consider your criteria of selection before choosing accommodation. After check in formalities are over, get fresh in to your room and have lunch. After a long drive you must be tired so we would recommend you to take rest. Full day rest in the hotel room. Take dinner in night . Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 03 : Agra
A beautiful morning in city of Taj. Wake up on time and get ready. The breakfast of your choice is ready in your room. Get into the car to start our visit to the most renowned monuments of the country and no doubt Taj Mahal deserves our first visit in the city. Going through severe security checks we would enter the massive gates of Taj Mahal. There is no starting point and no ending point of visit in Taj Mahal. Each and every thing even the thinest carvings of the marble walls worth giving an eye. The excellent example of symmetry , the architecture is indeed a wonder which took place on the bank of river Yamuna. After appreciating Taj we would move further to visit the Agra fort, build by Mughal Emperor Akbar. Visit the number of other buildings here like Moti - Masjid , a white mosque, Diwane’ Aam, Diwane’ Khas, Shish Mahal and many others.
In the afternoon we would go to a nice restaurant of Agra for the lunch. Agra is famous for Mughali Cuisine. Try some of the delicacies of Mughal cuisine. Post lunch we would take you to visit the Sikandara, a mousolumn of emperor Akbar representing his philosophy and secular out look. This is a proper blend of Hindu and Muslim Architecture. Take some photograhs and videos here. From Sikandara we would go to the city markets of Agra. Shopping in Agra is a must do if you want to possess marble souvenir of Taj and sweets of Agra like Petha, shopping without these are incomplete. Roam around the market and get yourself pampered by shopping. In the evening we would return back to the hotel. Dinner is served on arrival. Go to bed after a sumptuous dinner.
Day 04 : Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
Today morning we would go to visit some ancient archaeological evidences of Mughal Era. After breakfast we would go to the tomb of Itmad - Ud - Daullah. The history is associated with this beautiful building. You would see that craftsmanship at this tomb for shadows that of the Taj Mahal. Walk leisurely in the near by areas of tomb. Later we would leave the palce and drive towards a city of yesteryears , Fatehpur Sikri , 39 kms away from Agra. Lunch would be taken in a dhaba ( street restaurant). Reaching in Fatehpur we would visit the epic in red stone built by emperor Akbar. A historical story is related to this monument. The guide with us would narrate you the story. Visit other renowned places like Diwane’ Aam , Diwane’ Khaas , buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal , Jodha Bai palace and Birbal Bhavan . You would get plenty of opportunity for photography and video shoot .
Our guide would always be along telling you each and every detail about the places you visit. After a full day of visit to the Fatehpur Sikri we would return back to Agra, sipping tea and coffee in the car. We would reach hotel in the night. The hot dinner would do wonder after a long drive and hectic day. Sleep in your cozy room in Agra.
Day 05 : Agra – Jaipur
Today morning we would leave this historical place and continue our journey for another destination in India. Breakfast is served before departure. You can have it in your room or the dining area of the hotel. Your luggage is arranged in the car. We would drive from Agra to Jaipur and reach there in the evening. Our luxury hotel is already booked in Jaipur , so there would be no problem and we would transfer directly to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur after dinner.
Day 06 : Jaipur
The beautiful morning in Jaipur awaits you to get up early and see its exquisite beauty. Have variety of dishes in the breakfast and be ready to explore the pink city. Jaipur is the most renowned place in India and it attracts number of tourists every year. We would visit the first attraction of Jaipur is City Palace. See this exquisite construction , a proper mix of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Unestimated weapons and volumes of embroidered clothes are on display in the palace. Moving furhter we would visit Hawa Mahal the famous wind castle in the middle of walled city . There are number of windows in this pyramid shaped palace which give it a name Hawa Mahal. See the lively colorful market around the palace. Afternoon would be spent in a good restaurant for lunch consisting Rajasthani cuisine. After lunch we would take you to visit Nahargarh fort and Amber fort . These historical forts reminds us the glory of Rajasthan and gallantry of its worriers. Many Bollywood movies had been shot here which makes the location even popular among tourists. In the evening return back to the hotel for dinner. Relish the food in Rajasthani style. Sleep in the hotel tonight.
Day 07 : Jaipur – Udaipur
In the morning get up early and take breakfast on time. We would leave for another popular tourist destination in Rajasthan , Udaipur the city of lake. It is hub of palaces , forts and monuments. We would travel by road ,it is most convenient route to Udaipur from Jaipur and it makes the journey more enjoyable and beautiful sights close to ones eye. Lunch would be arranged in a local food joint in between the journey. As soon we reach the city we would head straight towards our pre booked hotel. Hotel authority would welcome you in traditional Rajasthani manner and give you a royal treatment.
Day 08 : Udaipur
Feel the freshness of the environment in the morning in your hotel room. Get out of your bed and see the panoramic view of this beautiful romantic city from the balcony of your room. Get ready and have breakfast served in your room. We would start our sight seeing tour from the most exquisite sight of the Lake palace. This is a beautiful island palace surrounded with panoramic natural beauty, the perfect place for photography and self indulgence. The reflection of marble place appears in the shimmering water of lake Pichola , the sight to behold. From there we would go to City Palace situated in the promontory on the lake Pichola. It has eleven beautiful palace providing breathtaking view of lake and its surrounding areas from its marvelously carved balconies and windows. Later we would visit Jag Mandir few step ahead of Lake Pichola.
Around 1: 00pm we would take lunch in the one of the most renowned heritage hotel in Udaipur, where not only the food is Rajasthani but the manner in which it is served is fully traditional Rajasthani manner. After concluding the lunch with the sweet items we would head towards another attraction, Sahelion Ki Bari ( Garden of Queen’s friends) Built as a retreat for ladies of the royal household to spend their leisure time. There in the vicinity of Sahelion Ki Bari , Fateh Sagar lake is situated. Boating in the lake can be enjoyed under the sun shine. An exciting boat cruising on the shimmering blue waters of Lake Pichola is a must have experience in Udaipur. Strolling in the city markets we would return back to the hotel. You can take your time if you want to do some shopping. Not to mention , markets in Udaipur offers extensive variety of folk toys, hand printed textiles, dyed Sarees , Silvar Jewelleries and Pitchwall hangings. After dinner go to bed cherishing the sweet memories of this romantic city.
Day 09 : Udaipur – Khajuraho
Get up early in the morning and have breakfast in the room. After breakfast pack your bags and sit in the car ,we would drive straight to the Air port to catch a flight for Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. We would reach there in the late evening , after clearing the airport formalities transfer to the hotel , which we have already booked for you. Overnight stay in the hotel after dinner.
Day 10 : Khajuraho
In the morning after breakfast we would leave for city tour of the Khajuraho. City which wrap history in its many folds and architecture in its many facets. Khajuraho is a sight of Archaeological importance. There is a deep connection of history and mythology under these rocks and ruined complex which reveal the facts in artistically carved rocks and stones. Famous for their architecture the temples of Khajuraho divided into three groups, Western group, Northern group, and south eastern group. Visit the temples dating back to 900 AD. There are so many temples to visit in the city . We would visit some very famous like sun temple, Devi Jagdambi temple, Vishwanath temple, and Lakshaman Chaturbhuja temple.
These temples are dedicated to Hindu God and Goddesses. Lord Brahma , Vishnu and Lord Shankara are the presiding diety of these temples.
Post lunch we would roam around the various temple complex. Visit some more temples of Northern and South eastern group. The architecture and the erotic sculptures in temples are worth giving a view. The priest in these temples would tell you the mythological and historical significance of these temples and sculptures and the stories behind these. We would visit some Jain temples also. After spending a day filled with sight seeing , temple visiting and peeping in history and indulging in archaeological facts return back to the hotel in the evening and have sumptuous dinner. After dinner sleep with the fond memories of Khajuraho.
Day 11 : Khajuraho – Aurangabad
Today we would leave the city of temples and continue the journey with our further destination. After breakfast in the hotel we would drive straight towards air port and catch a flight for Aurangabad. Reaching there we would stay in the star luxury hotel already booked by us. Dinner would be taken in the hotel and have a sound sleep after a hectic journey.
Day 12 : Aurangabad
Today in Aurangabad , start your day with a healthy diet in breakfast. This western zone of country has a rich cuisine to offer. Aurangabad comes as a destination of halt to those to visit the famous Ajanta - Elora caves in Maharashtra, they hardly spend enough time in this city while it has so much to offer as a tourist spot. This is a place of archaeological significance too has a group of beautiful caves. The caves in Aurangabad are Bushiest caves carved out of a hillside in the sixth or seventh century. The carvings on the walls creates a different era and you would love to catch them in to your camera. From there we would go to Bibi ka Maqbara , built by Azam Shah, a loving tribute to his mother, a queen of Mughal emperor. The fascinating story would be narrated by our guide. You would see the white marbled monument shows a rival resemblance with the world famous monument Taj Mahal. Leaving this monument we would move further to have lunch in a peaceful environment. After visiting Daulatabad fort located a mountainous Devgiri forestress , we go for the lunch. We have arranged the lunch in one of the renowned eating joint in the city to let you have a taste of local food. The spicy Maharashtrian food would delight you with its variety and colorful preparations.
After lunch we would go to Panchakki , an engineering feat of the time , actually its a water mill built for channeling of water from a spring on a distant hill. Which is later used to power the flour mill and grind grain.. An excellent example of old technology. Later on we would visit the city and its famous Darwazas (gates).There are four main Darvazas in Aurangabad which along with nine other secondary Darwazas formed part of the defense system of the city. For that we would take a rickshaw to go through the Darwazas leading in to the city . No other ride can give better view of this historical city than a rickshaw ride. Return back to the hotel in the evening. Dinner would be served in your room. Go to bed with sweet dreams.
Day 13 : Aurangabad – Ajanta – Ellora – Aurangabad
Get up early in the morning and have breakfast. Today we would visit the most famous archaeological travel destination Ajanta - Ellora. We would drive towards Ajanta to see the famous rock cut temples depicting Hindu , Buddhist and Jain faiths. These caves are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage site. Visiting these caves are like going through past. These caves are important mainly to see the fine line of transfer of the Hinyana and the Mahayana sect. The caves include both Chaitya (Prayer Halls) and monasteries and have both types of architecture and art besides paintings and scriptures. We would spend half day visit to the caves and come out of it during lunch time. After taking lunch in a restaurant in the near by areas we would drive further towards Ellora.
These caves too have some fantastic rock cut sculptures. Ellora caves are always rhymed with the Ajanta Caves for the architectural similarity and location. These caves are representative symbol of high tolerance of India from the ancient days, as well as pointing towards the common thread running through Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. In night return back to Aurangabad in the hotel and take dinner. Overnight stay at hotel in Aurangabad.
Day 14 : Aurangabad – Mumbai
Today morning after breakfast we would drive towards airport to catch a flight for Mumbai. Reaching there we would transfer directly to the hotel we have booked. Take lunch served in your room. In the evening you could go out in this most happening city of India famous for its night life.
You can go to some disc or a famous restaurants to have fun , the best way to shed the tiredness and weariness of a long trip. You would get refreshed and enjoy the night life of the city which never sleeps. You can take dinner out or in the hotel. Overnight stay in Mumbai
Day 15 : Mumbai
Get up early in the morning and relish the delicious breakfast provided by the hotel. Our journey has come to an end here , we would leave for the Mumbai airport where you can get connecting flight for your home.
